This is an interactive map I created using the 2013 NC Department of Agriculture's Shelter Data report. Each animal shelter in the state that accepts public money must report intake, adoption, returned to owner, and euthanasia data. Green represents lower numbers of euthanasia; the more orange or red color represents higher numbers. Mouse over the map to see specific shelter data.
